Open the Resource Availability window.
The Resource Availability window can be accessed from a resource card. The window shows a summary of resource capacities. The window is divided into lines showing the following: the entire capacity, the quantity allocated to jobs on order, the capacity assigned to jobs on quote, the availability after order and the remaining capacity after all jobs on quote or order.
The Period Start column on the left contains a series of dates that are determined by the time interval you have selected. You change the time interval in the View by field.
When you scroll up and down, the program calculates the amounts according to the selected time interval.
The columns in the window display the following:
Period Start | This column contains a series of dates according to the selected time interval. |
Period Name | This column contains the name of the time period. |
Capacity | This column contains the total capacity for the corresponding time period entered in the Resource Capacity window. |
Qty on Order | This column contains the amount of measuring units allocated to jobs with the status Order. |
Availability After Orders | Availability After Orders = Capacity - Qty. on Order |
Job Quotes Allocation | This column contains the amount of measuring units allocated to jobs with the status Quote. |
Net Availability | Net Availability = Capacity - Qty on Order - Job Quotes Allocation |
